This is the start to my 2019 Calendar Journal and the month of January. I hope you can see some light color tones of blue and red on the pages - they're darker in real time. These were done with a cotton ball and Inktense color blocks. The flower and festive bird cutouts were edged with a black 01 Micron pen to make them pop.
I modified [several times!] my favorite calendar cover to use again this year. It was tough but I'm glad its ready. Heavy tape to mends the adjusted width of the binding since the page signatures are less bulky.
