Teresa and I are thrilled to be featured artists at the Tustin Art Walk Saturday, October 20th. This event proves to be a very fun day. If you are in the area please come by, we would love to see you. Our booths are just south of Main Street, on El Camino Real.
I finished this figure in Black & White silk, organza and tulle early this year. What a fun piece to make! 30"W X 54"H
The piece is reminiscent of the horse race scene from My Fair Lady.As Lady in training: Flower Girl to Lady, she was overcome with enthusiasm at the race. She is so natural and her costume so chic it displays the paradox of her training regime. She proves to be a woman of strong character and intelligence.I chose her for a dynamic subject in Black & White.
Lady Dova is just home from Penn National and is now at Quilt Show & Market in Houston!
The Opening Reception for Letters: an expression of culture was held on Thursday Sept 27th and was absolutely fabulous! The exhibition and some workshops continue - September 27–November 19, 2012 Chapman University, Leatherby Libraries. Don't miss this awesome display of time honored Calligraphy in wonderful artistry! I am so happy I was able to attend! You must see the works by my friends: Barbara Close and Lisa Engelbrecht!
