Kindness Chronicles - September 2012

Awhile back I watched a young boy, 4 years old, during a large holiday gathering at the park.  The adults were playing a wonderfully fun and raucous game of volleyball.  The young boy saw a toddler wonder onto the back of the volleyball court and hurried over to him.  The boy spoke to the toddler and guided him to safe ground on the nearby grass where the toddler could watch the game and play and be out of harm’s way.  The kindness of the young boy amazed me and his father.  That boy is now a man still doing kind things like this.  I know, I’ve seen it many times, he’s our son.  What a blessing.
